NTA, the government company building the metro and the light rail lines in Gush Dan, announced four new directors for three-year terms, following approval by the committee for appointments in state companies, Transport Minister Miri Regev and Dudi Amsalem, the minister responsible for the Government Companies Authority.
The new directors are: Daoud Khoury, CEO of the Carmel Khoury real estate company in Nazareth, with a background in finance; Sivan Detauker, CEO of the Israel Hotel Association since 2024; Gilad Rabinovitz, a manager with more than 30 years of experience, recently appointed CEO of Tikshuv Group; and Avi Deutschman, adviser to the Accountant General at the Finance Ministry since March 2024.
They replace, among others, outgoing directors Yoram Cohen and Tal Biskes.
NTA board chair Yodfat Afek-Arzi said the strengthened professional board will support the company's determined effort to turn the project into a completed reality. The appointments come as NTA runs prequalification for both the Infra 1 and Infra 2 tenders, the largest in Israel's infrastructure history.
